What we take on

What to send

An STL is all we need. Binary or ASCII both work, and the quote tool reads the geometry in your browser, so you see the price before anything is uploaded.

How the price is worked out

Price follows the amount of plastic and the time on the machine, not a flat hourly rate. The tool works out the solid volume from your mesh, adds the infill you would get at your chosen quality, and prices the material, electricity and machine wear before applying our margin. A single handling fee covers packing and admin per order rather than per part, so ordering four things at once is meaningfully cheaper than four separate orders.

Where this works well

  • Watertight models that were designed for printing
  • Parts that fit the build area in one piece
  • Anything where a 0.2 mm layer finish is acceptable

Where it doesn’t

  • Meshes with holes or flipped faces — we will tell you rather than print rubbish
  • Parts needing tolerances tighter than about ±0.3 mm
  • Food-contact, structural or load-bearing safety parts

What happens after you order

You get a reference beginning PMP- and an email with a link to a status page. That page updates as the job moves through the queue, and an email goes out at each step, so you are never left wondering. If we spot a problem with the file before printing, that is where you hear about it — usually the same day, with a suggested fix.

Questions people ask about this

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up anywhere on this site. You upload, pay by card, and the reference in your email is how you track it.

Can I send more than one file at once?

Yes, and you should. Each file gets its own quantity and colour, and the handling fee is charged once for the order rather than once per file.

What if my file will not upload?

The tool only accepts .stl. If you have a STEP, 3MF or OBJ file, email it over and we will convert it and send a price back manually.

Got the file ready?

Drop it into the quote tool and the price appears straight away.
