Send a photo
of the part.

Hardly anyone with a broken part has a 3D file of it, and most firms will not quote without one. Send photographs instead — or post us the broken part itself. We measure, tell you what it would cost, and only then do you decide.

Photos of the part
The whole part, the faces that fit something else, and the break. A ruler or a coin in shot tells us the scale.

Would rather post us the part? Send this enquiry first so you have a reference number, then post the broken pieces to us — we will measure them properly and send them back with the new one. Most firms will not take the physical part. We will.

2
What is it, and what does it do?
What it came off, where it sits, and what it has to hold or withstand. This is what decides whether a printed part will actually last.

Tell us the make and model number if you know it — it is often printed on a sticker inside the door or on the back.

Overall size, hole diameters and the distance between hole centres get us most of the way. Millimetres are ideal. If you have not measured it, say so and send a photo with a ruler beside the part — we will work from that.

3
How many, and your budget
A budget is not a bid. It tells us whether to quote the job or tell you straight out that it cannot be made for that.

Where to send the quote
Posted anywhere in the UK, or collect free from Mildenhall, Suffolk

We need the postcode even for a collection — it goes on the invoice, and it means a collection can become a posted order later without asking you again.

Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged. You get a price, and then you decide.

Already have an STL, OBJ or 3MF? The instant quote tool prices it in about thirty seconds.

✅

Got it — we are on it.

A real person reads it.

Your photos land in our workshop queue, not an inbox that nobody opens. We measure what we can from the pictures, draw the part, and send you a firm price. If a measurement is missing or an angle is unclear we ask for it. If the part is better bought than printed, or will not survive where it has to sit, we say that instead of quoting you for something that will fail.

The price covers
  • ✓ Drawing the part from your photos
  • ✓ Material, print time and machine wear
  • ✓ One revision if the first fit is off
  • ✓ Your file kept, so a repeat costs less
We will tell you if
  • ○ The part is still sold, and cheaper
  • ○ Plastic will not survive the heat or load
  • ○ The photos cannot show enough to draw it
  • ○ It cannot be made for your budget

Worth a read first: what we can do with no CAD file.

Common questions

Can you 3D print a part without a CAD file?

Yes. Send clear photos and a few measurements and we draw the part from those. Most replacement parts we make start as a photograph and a set of calliper readings, not a file.

What photos do you need of a broken part?

One of the whole part, one of each face that fits something else, and one of the break. Put a ruler or a coin in shot for scale. More angles are always better than fewer.

Can I post you the broken part instead?

Yes, and it is the most accurate way. Send the enquiry first so you have a reference, then post the pieces to us. We measure them properly and return them with the new part.

How much does it cost to 3D print a replacement part?

Most single replacement parts fall between twenty and sixty pounds including drawing time. There is no minimum order, so a single small part is a job we will happily quote.
